(I'm gonna go ahead an start! Can't wait. Oh and by the way, I'm wishing to start completely over, as in, none of them have ever met before unless your charries know your own charrie, you know what I mean???)

Gabriel stood at the steps of the Acadamey, the building looking like a castle from the Victorian Era. His silver hair glinted in the sun's light as he waited for the new members of the year to appear. He had no doubt they'd find their way there, they alwasy seemed to be able too. He sighed and closed his silver eyes as pain racked his heart. Many students this year had died because of demons. Gabriel knew it wouldn't be long until the Council finally decided what to do about them, but at the moment Gabriel had gaurds out in the woods.

James snarled and shifted into his normal wolf form (though in that form he's the size of a large pony, so sort of normal) into his hybrid form. He now stood at eight feet tall, soft brown fur covered him and white was on his stomach. His blue eyes flashed in anger as a second demon appeared out of the shadows. James had mistakingly took the smaller of the two to be the weakest, but that was far from the truth. Blood staind the brown fur that covered the rippling muscles beneath. He bared his teeth and swung at paw that containd dagger sized claws at one that lunged for him. He then had to dodge to the side. One of them ended up jumping to his back as he was distracted from the other one and James jumped back with all his speed, slamming the demon against the tree and a sharp branch protruded from its gut. The branch hadn't been able to pirece James's rock hard skin that all shape-shifters possesed. Only ceartin medals could pierce their skin, including the fangs of a vampire. The other lunged for him and it too dissapeared in a explosion of black dust. James stood for a moment, then shifted back into his human form, shrinking back into a six feet eight inches guy. His chin lentgh black hair clung to his sweaty face and muscle flexed under his tanned skin as he looked behind him at the two black spots where the demons had dissapeared. Pain flowed through James, but he welcomed it as though it were a dear friend. The pain kept his attention off the past, when his own parents had been killed before his eyes.

[Gnash]

Small feet gracefully pounded the soiled earth as Aurora raced through the thick forest. She had never enjoyed being a human; it was just too... normal for her. After learning of her talent for shape-shifting, all she had wanted to be was her alternative and no longer herself. The length of time that she remained in her shift only strengthened her 'other half.' Now, the creature that lived inside her had almost destroyed her human form. Even thinking of changing would instantly force her into a shift of being. She had never found value in being human; the girl only saw it as the cover up that hid her true form. Aurora gave a massive leap forwards her hands stretched towards the ground as if to sheild her head from the impact ,but instead of landing as human naturally would, her small hands changed into elegant paws as soon as they touched the dirt. The girl's body followed the alteration of her hands until she had become a creature that was not only twice the size of a grown panther but that also had far greater abilities than most known animals of the world. A smile curled around her lips. Aurora was pleased to be in her animal form once more as she stealed through the forest with deadly silence.

[Eagle]

((aw that's going to mess up my thing with Eagle, but I guess he'll have another chance to live))

Eagle hated his human self. It was awkward for him to be on two legs and have dimmed senses. The black wolf had taken him over and the human brain was defeated, it was in a little corner. He only knew himself as "Eagle" because of the human brain. He howled, announcing his presence to those around him and ran on. Along the way, Eagle tackled a buck and snapped its neck before it could react. He tore off some meat, being the savage animal he was, and ate in peace.

Skylar was afraid of the outside world. She sat in a small cave, her knees up to her chest and her head on them. Skylar had just seen her parents murdered by dragons and her brother had escaped too. She didn't know where he was, but it had to be safe. It was a good thing human food wasn't as appealing to her as live animals, because she had none. Thinking of these memories, she sobbed.

Wesley ran from the dragons, his dark red fur bristling. He was afraid though, mainly for his missing sister. She had ran when they first attacked their parents and he hadn't seen her since. She had to be better of than he was. Suddenly the dragons let out a roar and lost interest in him, flying high into the sky and disappearing. He collapsed, panting and shifting to human form.

Edme peeked out from behind a rock making sure the coast is clear. She was so small in animal form, why was that she thought. Maybe it was her personality in real life. In her human form she was shy around people she didn't know she felt weak and small in school. Maybe that is why she is so small and young as an animal. She didn't hate being an animal she just wished that she could defend herself a little better than she did.

James sighed and knelt down next to a creek. He cupped some water in his hands and splashed it over himself with a contented sigh. Power radiated from him, and anyone that was near could feel that his beast laid just beneath the surface of this normal, but quite handsome lad.

[Saphera]

Edme walked around the corner, and then saw a boy splashing water in his face by the river. Then she froze, she tried to turn back into human, but she couldn't. She just stood frozen and hoped he didn't notice her.

[Eagle]

After eating, Eagle came to a small "creek". He saw a human through his dark green eyes and snarled, mostly as a warning. He stood a ways from the human and drank some of the flowing water. Eagle walked a short distance from the creek and shook himself, trying to dislodge any particles in his fur.

[Xavier]

James stopped and studied the wolf carefully. He smiled, though it was more like baring his teeth. "It's not wise to pick on other shifters, wolf." His heard another heart beat, beating fast as though afraid, but he didn't take his eyes off the other.

[Eagle]

Eagle snarled again, the dark eyes hardening. His teeth were showing now, each were like daggers inside the mouth of a heartless beast. His small, pathetic human mind told the wolf to back down and leave the guy alone, but the wolf was a fighter. One that wasn't to be messed with. Then a word hit him. Shifter. What was that? The unfamiliar word was attatched to the human brain, something that a wolf would never understand. Eagle's stance remained threatening, only responding to a human on the turf of animals.

[Xavier]

"Do you not remember being human?" James had done that once. The idea of losing his mind to his animal side had been a blessing when his parents had been killed in front of him at the age of twelves. His voice as he'd been talking to the wolf had been nothing but conversational, trying to drag the human out with curiosity. The wolf side wouldn't understand these things, but the human part would start to drag out at the familierity at the human voice. Power radiated from James in thick waves from his wolf side's anger. He demanded to lunge at the wolf and force him to submit, but James held him back skillfully, soothing his wolf by telling him they were still top at the Acadamey, that none other could be able to take that. The wolf side grumbled finally, feeling anyother creature near them take off at the heat of his power.

[Eagle]

Eagle jumped back, as if he had been struck. His eyes flashed at the wolf inside this human and the willpower of the wolf barely kept him up. Eagle's human mind surfaced again. Being human. The wolf pushed back the weak human mind inside his head and watched the human by the creek.. He finally crumbled to the ground, the wolf defeated for once and the human mind surfaced. His name was Eagle. The one who had survived only by living as a wolf. His parents and sister were dead. Eagle was in trouble. He ran for hours on end to get away. His mind swam with random flashing memories inside his head and a soft whine escaped his throat.

Wesley realized he was in front of some sort of building. What kind of building would be out in the middle of no where? He stood up, ignoring the pain of his ribs and looked at the building, though it looked like a huge castle.
